Traditional Slow Cooked Bream

Fish
- Cut your whole bream into two pieces.
- Add your bream to a pot with 1 cup of water and add 2 tbsps. Of Yalelo traditional fish spice
- Add 1 tbspn. Salt to the pot and set to boil for 10 minutes.
Gravy
- Put oil in your saucepan and let it heat up. Add onions and cook for about 30 seconds.
- And your chopped onions and mix well while they cook together.
- Add paprika, salt and tomato paste.
- Cook on medium heat for 5-8 minutes until well combined.
- Pour the sauce onto the fish in the pot and let the fish slow cook for 10-15 minutes
Serve with nshima and your favourite local vegetables.
